This is a very different blog post for me.
All these photos were taken throughout the month of December.
I began December in Arizona and of course ended it with Christmas celebrations.

I tried my best to make this post aesthetic and as seamless as possible. But I also like that this post is a little random and all over the place-because that is exactly how my life is.
My family isn’t perfect, but they are mine. And for that I am eternally grateful.

So with all that said I hope you enjoy looking at a little glimpse of what the last month of 2024 looked like for SAP.
Onto the blog..

A Merry December Full of All of My Favorite Things

the full post

This is the second time I have photographed this family, and it is one of the biggest compliments when clients become returning clients. Like the fact you choose to invest in SAP year after year is such an honor.

When Kaylor reached out to me for her family session, I was so excited. I loved my time with the Willis family last year and I knew this year would be even better; not only were the kids a year older but now they were familiar with me.
As you will be able to tell in the photos, their little girl was a sassy queen while their little guy was all grins. I was so glad the kids warmed right up to me and let their personalities shine.

This location was also perfect. I find that simple and wide open backgrounds are sometimes the best spots for family sessions: especially when there is room for the littles to run around.

I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorites from their fall session.

Onto the blog!

Meet my newest SAP Senior, Kate Rose. I’ve known Kate since she was 9 years old, so taking her high school senior portraits was bittersweet, mostly sweet but it made me feel old haha.

We took her portraits in the stunning and versatile Lake Pleasant Regional Park, where we saw lots of cacti, a sailboat, and a burro.

When we were in the planning part of Kate’s session, she told me she wanted her photos by a lake. Well living in AZ means there isn’t an abundance of water, but surprisingly the few lakes they have are stunning. We spent a couple hours walking around the lake’s property finding spots that fit Kate Rose’s personality and vibe.

Kate Rose: I am so honored to know you. You shine so brightly for Jesus and you radiate joy and love. Any time with you is a good time. Thanks for making me laugh the entirety of your session and thank you for choosing me to capture this special time of your life.
