If awards were given for most photogenic family, this sweet fam would win first prize.
This was my third year photographing them and it is always an honor to be continually chosen to capture sweet memories for a family.
Their session date was in November and in East TN you never know if it will be snowing or sunshine. Thankfully it was the latter.
The kids ages were 4, 2.5, and 10 months old. As you will be able to tell by the photos, we had a lot of fun. The kids were bundles of joy and I am so glad they let their personalities shine.

I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorites. I am pretty thrilled with how much we captured in their one hour session!!

Onto the blog….

A Family Session Full of Laughter and Personality

the full post

This is officially my first branding session on the blog, and it is only fitting that it is of a fellow photographer and friend of mine.
Chloe is a new photographer in the East TN area, originally from BC Canada, she moved here a little over a year ago.
Along with being a talented photographer, she’s also a budding artist and a coffee connoisseur.

Chloe’s vision for her branding session was for it to feel cozy, nostalgic, and free spirited.

The first half of her session took place in her cozy apartment, where she made me a delicious latte. The session ended at an open field that had snow capped mountains in the distance.

It was such an honor to try and capture Chloe’s vision and I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorites from her session.

A Nostalgic and Artistic Branding Session

the full post

This family session happened exactly one month after Hurricane Helene hit Appalachia. I say this becuase the mom of this family, Jennifer Harrah, was stranded on the top of the roof of Unicoi Hospital(https://www.wjhl.com/news/local/no-other-option-unicoi-co-hospital-administrator-recounts-rooftop-flood-rescue/) with more than 50 others that day. You can read more about that here: link(https://www.wjhl.com/news/local/no-other-option-unicoi-co-hospital-administrator-recounts-rooftop-flood-rescue/)
Jennifer’s daughter in law, Charity, booked this session months prior as a birthday gift for her; not knowing that Jennifer’s life would be put in danger not long after.

To say we were all grateful this day is an understatement. I am so thankful God had His hand on Jennifer and so many others that last Friday of Septemeber.

This session and the last couple months have shown me just how fragile our time here on earth is. We never know what day will be our last, but I pray like me, you know Who holds your life in His hands.
