One of the things I love about living in East Tennessee is how I am completely surrounded by beautiful nature. The only challenging part is finding nature spots that are easily accessible for a client wearing heels and a fancy dress lol. But I love a challenge and being creative with my locations.
Eden and her mom, Jordan expressed that they would love to have blooming trees in Eden’s photos if all possible.
We had originally scheduled Eden’s session right during the peak spring bloom, but because of cold and rainy weather we postponed her session by a week.
I was so worried we’d miss the blooms, so I kept checking the weather religiously, to see if we’d get a break from the rain. Thankfully we did, and I called Jordan (on very short notice) to see if they’d be willing to shoot a mini session with the blooms, before our actual scheduled date. Even though it was windy and quite cold, Eden was so trusting and willing, and we were rewarded with some of the prettiest dogwood blooms I’ve seen!
We then finished the rest of Eden’s session on a much warmer day the next week.
A big thank you to Jordan and Eden for being so flexible and trusting of my weather and location advice. Eden: I loved hanging out with you and getting to know you!! You have the cutest laugh and are a joy to be around!
I hope y’all enjoy Eden’s springy senior session!

We had to reschedule this senior session three times!
That’s lovely East TN spring weather for ya.
However, it was worth the wait, because we were finally rewarded with the most perfect weather and I was so happy when we found a few remaining trees in bloom.
We started Victoria’s session at the Blair Academy of the Arts, where we captured her doing what she loves best: playing the piano. It is always so fun seeing the different passions and hobbies my seniors have, and I always enjoy integrating those passions in their sessions.
For our second location we drove to a local park in Johnson City, where we found a stunning wooded path with wild blue flowers everywhere- it felt like we were in an enchanted forest!!!
I loved my time with Victoria and her sweet mom, Lori!
It continues to be such an honor when I am chosen to capture monumental chapters in people’s lives, and I am so thrilled I got to photograph this special chapter for Victoria.
I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorites from Victoria’s classy senior session!

I LOVE when SAP Seniors want to do their senior sessions at a place that makes them happy. For Chloe, her happy place is with her horses.
Chloe is the sweetest and has the cutest laugh. If you ever see her in person she’ll most likely be smiling.
I was so honored she chose me to capture this special time in her life.
We had so much fun taking photos on her family’s property and I couldn’t get over the stunning mountain views they have from their backyard.
I hope you enjoy looking at my favorites from Chloe’s session!
