This is officially my first branding session on the blog, and it is only fitting that it is of a fellow photographer and friend of mine.
Chloe is a new photographer in the East TN area, originally from BC Canada, she moved here a little over a year ago.
Along with being a talented photographer, she’s also a budding artist and a coffee connoisseur.
Chloe’s vision for her branding session was for it to feel cozy, nostalgic, and free spirited.
The first half of her session took place in her cozy apartment, where she made me a delicious latte. The session ended at an open field that had snow capped mountains in the distance.
It was such an honor to try and capture Chloe’s vision and I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorites from her session.

This family session happened exactly one month after Hurricane Helene hit Appalachia. I say this becuase the mom of this family, Jennifer Harrah, was stranded on the top of the roof of Unicoi Hospital(https://www.wjhl.com/news/local/no-other-option-unicoi-co-hospital-administrator-recounts-rooftop-flood-rescue/) with more than 50 others that day. You can read more about that here: link(https://www.wjhl.com/news/local/no-other-option-unicoi-co-hospital-administrator-recounts-rooftop-flood-rescue/)
Jennifer’s daughter in law, Charity, booked this session months prior as a birthday gift for her; not knowing that Jennifer’s life would be put in danger not long after.
To say we were all grateful this day is an understatement. I am so thankful God had His hand on Jennifer and so many others that last Friday of Septemeber.
This session and the last couple months have shown me just how fragile our time here on earth is. We never know what day will be our last, but I pray like me, you know Who holds your life in His hands.

I have so many good things to say about this SAP Senior Session!!!
The weather was perfect, the fall leaves were at peak color, and I got to spend time with an old highschool friend; it was just the most wonderful day.
Madisyn and I went to highschool together, she moved to Murfreesboro, TN for college but we always kept in touch and two years ago I photographed her engagement session with her now-husband.
She is finishing her Master’s at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville(https://www.utk.edu) so it worked out perfectly to take her senior photos, because UT is only a two hour drive for me.
I drove up a couple hours before her session, so I could find parking ( can’t parallel park to save my life), look around campus, and find SAP worthy spots.
This was my first time shooting at UT’s campus and I hope it’s not my last.
I hope you enjoy looking at my MANY favorites from Madisyn’s session and I hope you stick around to read a little more about my newest SAP Senior, her pilot husband, and the famous Rock(https://therock.utk.edu/#:~:text).
