I felt like I was photographing a celebrity at this session.
This sweet little boy is my best friends’ nephew, who I have only seen photos of for the entire year of his life.
So when I finally got to meet him I was smitten- I mean just look at those baby blue eyes!!
Hunter and Kristin drove from NC to TN for their session, and I am so honored they did.

I love it when my sessions are Christmas gifts. The grandchildren of this family collectively wanted to gift their Nana a family session for Christmas. So this session has been in the works since December of last year. And guess what? We didn’t have to rechedule the date once!! Between the everchanging TN weather and the fact that life just happens, I was amazed we never had to change the session date.

“All Rachel wants for Christmas is a family session with you.”
That is what Adam, Rachel’s husband told me last Decemeber. So this session has been a long time coming. Rachel ideally wanted to have the photos done before June, to avoid the humid weather. But unfortunately we had to reschedule a couple times and the session ended up being right in the middle of hot-humid June haha. Regardless of how hot it was, the gnats, and the possible poison ivy: they were all troopers. Note to self though: bring water bottles for everyone haha.
